Vocabulary that relates to Coalwood Bituminous coal- Black coal having a relatively high volatile content. It burns with a characteristically bright smoky flame. The bituminous coal should be swept away from a chimney at least once a year.

Inertia- A tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged.The driver of the car couldn't prevent the inertia from propelling it forward even though he pushed the brakes.
Friction- The resistance that once surface or object encounters when moving over another. Friction allows the basketball players to run on the basketball court and to stop and shot the basketball. Force- Strength or energy as a attribute of physical action or movement. Newtons 2nd law describes how force=MxA.
